Are you looking for the perfect intimate venue with beautiful character for your special event? The Cowboy Carousel Arts and Community Center is just for you. Nestled at the base of the Big Horn Mountains our unique venue is the perfect backdrop for your event. The Historic Beutler's building was constructed in 1920. Its worn wooden floors creaks with history with each step you take. This 6,000 square-foot building has character and charm at every turn, with the large authentic stone fireplace, antique light fixtures and doors from the former Idlewild Hotel in Buffalo, a genuine western bar, classrooms, studios, a historic micro theatre, kitchen, ample parking and ADA accessible. Over the past decade The Center has served the community with weddings, reunions, after proms, art exhibits, family reunions, makers markets, theatrical performances, birthday parties, baby showers, festivals, blue grass camps and more. The Center is committed to helping you achieve a successful and memorable event.
The Perfect Wedding Venue
The perfect venue for the perfect wedding. This beautiful rustic space is nothing like the typical commercial occasion space and will hold up to 160 guests for your event. We have everything you need onsite including a bridal suite, kitchen, tables & chairs, tablecloths, a full bar, ample parking and ADA accessible. Set up and cleanup is also available. Perfect for your unforgettable day.
Art Exhibits
We have a perfect gallery space and everything you need for your exhibit. Our spacious open space includes focus track lighting and art display boards to create the perfect art exhibition.
A Theatre
That seats up to 100 patrons.
Our theatre has a red main curtain and a portable stage. The stage can be minimized down to as small as four feet by eight feet or as large as twenty feet deep by twenty-four feet wide. Patrons have expressed how wonderful the sound and acoustics are in our space, making it fantastic for theatrical performance, recitals and more. Our lighting includes movable track lighting, LED color par cans that can hold up to six lighting changes and a spotlight with up to six colors. We have a 6000W 14 channel sound board that accommodates hard wired and wireless microphones / lavalieres for your show. We also have elevated seating in the house if desired and plenty of greenroom space and dressing rooms available for your production or show. Let your imagination run free!
A Micro-Theatre
That seats up to 35 patrons.
This vintage thirty-five seat micro theatre offers an intimate and unique experience. It is great for small film festivals, poetry readings, power point presentations, gaming, or even small one act plays. The theatre contains a small stage area, movie projector, large screen or TV, full sound equipment and even a popcorn machine to cover anything you may need to make your event successful.
