CCYT Invites Performers Ages 5–18 to Audition for Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach JR.!

Cowboy Carousel Youth Theatre is thrilled to present Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach JR.—a whimsical, high‑energy musical filled with adventure, imagination, and unforgettable characters. This beloved story follows young James as he escapes a difficult life and discovers friendship, courage, and magic inside a giant peach that carries him across the ocean. With humor, heart, and show‑stopping musical numbers, this production gives performers of all ages a chance to shine.

This show is perfect for young performers because it offers: • A wide variety of roles for all ages, personalities, and experience levels • Strong ensemble opportunities for new performers • Featured speaking and singing roles for more advanced actors • Fun choreography, imaginative storytelling, and colorful characters   • A supportive, confidence‑building environment where kids learn teamwork, stage skills, and creativity

Auditions are grouped by age to help every performer feel supported and set up for success: 

Ages 5–7: 10:00–11:00 AM 

Ages 8–12: 11:00 AM–12:00 PM 

Ages 13–18: 12:00–1:00 PM 

Callbacks: By director’s request at 2:00 PM
