STEAM Saturdays are revamping and expanding!
We’re refreshing the space to make room for our expanded weekly STEAM programming. Beginning Saturday, September 26th, the Discovery Center will launch its new format:
Beginning Saturday, September 26, the Discovery Center will now host STEAM Saturdays every Saturday from 10:00AM–2:00 PM.
Each Saturday will feature:
- Toddler Room Open – a safe, playful space for our youngest explorers
- Sensory Bins for Littles – hands-on textures, scooping, pouring, and discovery
- STEAM Exhibit of the Week – rotating focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, or Math
This new weekly format keeps curiosity alive all month long and gives families more chances to explore, learn, and play together.
Come see how the new discovery center fits into the Cowboy Carousel Community Center. Entrance to the discovery center through the side entrance off the parking lot.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Kids In the kitchen
Kids in the Kitchen is back!
In this fun and festive holiday class, young bakers ages 8–12 will dive into Christmas baking as they mix, measure, shape, and decorate a variety of seasonal treats. Along the way, they’ll learn real kitchen skills, follow recipes, work safely and confidently, and explore their creativity through colorful holiday goodies they can proudly take home. It’s a joyful way to build confidence, celebrate the season, and make sweet memories together.
Tuesdays, from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM
